Contractors have been engaged and designs are currently being finalized and reviewed by the relevant bodies before being signed off, ready for construction.

The drone survey has been completed providing a full dilapidation of the exterior of the building. To record the current condition and highlight any repairs that may be needed.

Part of the preparation works also include obtaining all necessary permits for footpath closures required throughout the remediation works and environmental plans for the ethical disposal of all waste materials. This include the temporary closure of the cnal towpath in order to allow scaffolding to be erected.

Initial site works will include the mobilisation of the site office and facilities, establishment of site boundary followed by all scaffold and access being erected.
