Back in 2015 when Intelligent FS was created it was envisaged that we would provide a high level of customer quality through a broad service provision. This service delivery would differentiate from our competitors by being quality driven with an “easy to do business with” approach and always with the strong influence of the Directors Rob & Adam. 

At the end of 2022, we continued to grow and build upon this market reputation with a strengthened leadership and management team and a focus on addressing the life-critical fire-safety issues known as the UK cladding crisis.

Our values on customer satisfaction and Health and Safety compliance remain as strong today as they were back in 2015 and we now look forward to the next 10 years of development and evolution of the Intelligent brand, makings Britain’s buildings safe and sustainable.

We transcend expectations when it comes to accreditation’s too; we have ISO9001, ISO45001 and are in the process of implementing ISO14001. We are SafeContractor approved and maintain the Constructionline Gold accreditation, and we are constantly investing in our people and processes to earn even more recognition.

We’re a unique team, focused on providing the personal touch. We are ambitious, and our expertise comes from more than 60 years experience within the Construction industry.

We have delivered and are in the process of delivering cladding remediation projects across the UK which focus on making Britain’s buildings safe and sustainable. Rob Williams
Executive Director of Operations
Rob co-founded Intelligent FS with Adam back in 2015. Rob has extensive experience both nationally and internationally in the construction and facility services sectors. Leading major military infrastructure projects for the MoD and Commercial Airport radar facilities in Syria. In the UK he has directed high value capital building projects across the country including the City of London. His background in construction and subsequently, Facilities Management enables him to fully understand the needs of the built environment. Rob is responsible for project and programme management together with client relations and strategic planning of the business.
James Flannery
Non-Executive Director
James has extensive experience of construction and regeneration in the private and public sector. He spent the formative years of his professional career with Balfour Beatty Construction, Tyson’s Construction and Thomas Armstrong Construction. He has been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire, managed the Construction Initiative in Liverpool and established, grew and sold companies, including an innovation led Principal Contractor company in the Construction industry. As a NED, James brings his wealth of experience to bear in support of the Boards strategic direction and growth plans.
Adam Gallagher
Executive Director of Commercial & Finance
Our executive director Adam helped co-found Intelligent FS in 2015; a Chartered Management Accountant and holder of an MBA from Manchester Business School, Adam looks after our finance and commercial activities. He has an impressive property and facilities management career behind him, working for major players Vinci, Alfred McAlpine and Taylor Woodrow (now Taylor Wimpey). Adam has over 20 years’ experience working in the facilities management and construction environment and has an excellent track record in delivering services to clients within budget.
Richard Shine
Marketing, ESG & Digital Transformation Director
Richard joined Intelligent FS in July 2021 as General Manager Acquisitions & Integrations, with nearly 20 years corporate experience within Construction, Facilities Management, Healthcare and Software Development companies. Skilled in sales leadership, business strategy and operational implementation, Richard has delivered operational leadership within a high-profile healthcare client and now manages marketing, compliance and all things digital across the business.
Adrian Howe
Business Development Director
Adrian has been in sales his entire career, selling advertising, food, exhibition space and office partitioning. However, with over 40 years of sales experience in the Construction Services sector, Adrian brings a wealth of experience to the business development team.
Tony Brading
Commercial Director
Tony joined Intelligent FS in August 2021 to head up the commercial team, bringing with him over 25 years’ experience within the construction industry; having developed his career at Shepherd Construction. Tony has gained extensive knowledge working within the Residential, Retail and Infrastructure sectors. With a proven track record for generating and developing relationships, managing projects from inception to completion and developing teams to deliver success.
James Bannister
Project Manager
James joined Intelligent FS in March 2022 as a NEBOSH qualified Project Manager within the high end Residential arm of the business. Over the years James has worked within many different sectors in the construction industry, this has helped him develop a great expertise in a wide range of subject areas. This has also helped him develop his leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. James finds his work most pleasurable when we he has helped deliver what the client wants on time and within budget.
Adam Prescott
Project Manager
Having joined us in June-22, Adam has brought a highly qualified set of Construction Project Manager skills to the company and a wealth of experience, which have quickly been utilised in the management of a Manchester based re-cladding project. With a conscientious approach to all site management activities and being able to think on his feet in front of a camera! I am sure we will see more of Adam over the coming weeks on our various social channels.
Phil Darke
Project Manager
With a wealth of construction site management experience stemming back from his days on the tools as a bricklayer, Phil has very quickly shown his value in managing multiple sites we have running in Cardiff, since he joined us in July-22. With several new re-cladding projects due to start over the next couple months, Phil will certainly have his hands full. But his can-do, no-nonsense approach to site management has already proven a successful formula and we looking forward to many more successful project deliveries.
Bart Stepaniak
Site Supervisor
Bart has been with the business since its inception in 2016. In his role of senior engineer Bart is responsible for the delivery of site activities and supervising Intelligent FS on-site suppliers and contractors. Bart has over 25 years’ experience in the construction and maintenance sectors. He is highly respected by both his peer group and customers alike who warm to his courteous, professional and helpful approach to business. A competent and widely skilled engineer who is passionate about delivering a quality product.
Stuart Holloway
Site Supervisor
Stuart is a fully qualified electrician with over 32 years’ experience as both an engineer and supervisor. He also possesses fabric multi-tasking skills and it is the combination of these attributes that make him such a valued member of the Intelligent FS management team. Stuart has excellent customer facing skills and has become a client supervisor of choice.
Nick Vitiu
Site Supervisor
One of the newest members of the team, Nick brings over 7 years experience running construction sites and managing onsite health and safety. He is already a key member of the site team and we’re looking forward to seeing him develop and grow with us.
Elliot O’Brien
Quantity Surveyor
Elliot joined Intelligent FS in May 2021 as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a Msc Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management from Liverpool John Moores University and 2 years experience in social housing and construction. Since working at Intelligent FS, Elliot has carried out a variety of tasks within his time in the business including estimating, tendering, surveying and project delivery.
Damian Campbell
Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Damian came to Intelligent FS from the University of Salford where he is currently completing his final year of Quantity Surveying on a part time basis. However, Damian is already an integral part of the Commercial team and a great asset, a credit to both Salford University and himself.
Sam Shorrock
Trainee Project Manager/QS
Sam joined our team in January 2022 with the role of a Trainee Project Manager/ Quantity Surveyor with limited expertise within the industry. Since joining IFS Sam has been able to accumulate his skills and utilise his previous management experience into successfully delivering projects as part of the Commercial and Operations teams. Sam is a great communicator and is very proactive which is beneficial in our small team and is looking forward to accelerating his knowledge at Intelligent FS.
Michelle Lynch
Client Relationship Manager
Michelle joined Intelligent FS in January 2020 as a Business Development Manager bringing with her over 20 years’ experience in sales. With a background of working within technical and compliance organisations, Michelle is extremely customer focussed and has a keen eye for detail. She has the ability to anticipate potential issues and resolve problems in a timely manner so providing first class service to the customer.
Charlotte Edgar
HR & Contracts Administrator
Charlotte joined Intelligent FS in November 2021 as a Contracts Administrator. Experienced in Customer Service and management initially her main responsibility was running a very busy Helpdesk but with her qualification in HR, Charlotte has now taken on a wider role within the company and is going from strength to strength.
Josh Greenhalgh
Project Co-Ordinator
Josh joined Intelligent FS in December 2020 as a project co-ordinator. Josh’s background of work within Customer service & Compliance means he will be able to oversee current & future projects whilst maintaining excellent relationships with clients.
