Back in 2015 when Intelligent FS was created it was envisaged that we would provide a high level of customer quality through a broad service provision.

This service delivery would differentiate ourselves from our competitors by being quality driven with an “easy to do business with” approach and always with the strong influence of the Directors Rob & Adam. 

As a result of continued growth and market reputation the business has completed a major rebranding exercise which now presents a more comprehensive and experienced offering to both our existing and new customers alike. 

Our values on customer satisfaction and Health and Safety compliance remain as strong today as they were back in 2015.

We now look forward to the next 10 years of development and evolution of the Intelligent brand.

Rob Williams
Executive Director
Rob co-founded Intelligent FS with Adam back in 2015. Rob has extensive experience both nationally and internationally in the construction and facility services sectors. Leading major military infrastructure projects for the MoD and Commercial Airport radar facilities in Syria. In the UK he has directed high value capital building projects across the country including the City of London. His background in construction and subsequently, Facilities Management enables him to fully understand the needs of the built environment. Rob is responsible for project and programme management together with client relations and strategic planning of the business.
Adam Gallagher
Executive Director of Commercial & Finance
Our executive director Adam helped co-found Intelligent FS in 2015; a Chartered Management Accountant and holder of an MBA from Manchester Business School, Adam looks after our finance and commercial activities. He has an impressive property and facilities management career behind him, working for major players Vinci, Alfred McAlpine and Taylor Woodrow (now Taylor Wimpey). Adam has over 20 years’ experience working in the facilities management and construction environment and has an excellent track record in delivering services to clients within budget.
Richard Shine
Managing Director
Richard joined Intelligent FS in July 2021 as General Manager Acquisitions & Integrations, with nearly 20 years corporate experience within Construction, Facilities Management, Healthcare and Software Development companies. Skilled in sales leadership, business strategy and operational implementation, Richard delivered an operational leadership role within an Intelligent FS high profile healthcare client and returned to Intelligent FS as Managing Director and head of the new Facilities Management arm.
Tony Brading
Commercial Manager
Tony joined Intelligent FS in August 2021 as a Commercial Manager bringing with him over 25 years’ experience within the construction industry; having developed his career at Shepherd Construction, Tony has gained extensive knowledge working within the Residential, Retail and Infrastructure sectors. With a proven track record for generating and developing relationships, managing projects from inception to completion and developing teams to deliver success.
Mark Rowbotham
Senior Project Manager
Mark joined Intelligent FS in August 2021 bringing 30 years of construction experience to the business. Having worked in both the residential and commercial sectors, Mark has a wealth of knowledge across the board, enabling him to deliver a variety of projects. A keen eye for detail ensures great job delivery.
Trevor Lee
Project Manager
Trevor joined Intelligent FS in February 2022 as a Project Manager bringing over 17 years’ construction experience combined with a BSc Hons in Construction Project Management. He has worked with Construction Companies and Suppliers to the Construction sector directing site teams, handling project commercial and administrative functions and dealing directly with Clients and Consultants to successfully deliver projects.
Elliot O’Brien
Quantity Surveyor
Elliot joined Intelligent FS in May 2021 as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a Msc Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management from Liverpool John Moores University and 2 years experience in social housing and construction. Since working at Intelligent FS, Elliot has carried out a variety of tasks within his time in the business including estimating, tendering, surveying and project delivery.
Michelle Lynch
Client Relationship Manager
Michelle joined Intelligent FS in January 2020 as a Business Development Manager bringing with her over 20 years’ experience in sales. With a background of working within technical and compliance organisations, Michelle is extremely customer focussed and has a keen eye for detail. She has the ability to anticipate potential issues and resolve problems in a timely manner so providing first class service to the customer.
James Bannister
Project Manager
James joined Intelligent FS in March 2022 as a NEBOSH qualified Project Manager within the high end Residential arm of the business. Over the years James has worked within many different sectors in the construction industry, this has helped him develop a great expertise in a wide range of subject areas. This has also helped him develop his leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. James finds his work most pleasurable when we he has helped deliver what the client wants on time and within budget.
Josh Greenhalgh
Project Co-Ordinator
Josh joined Intelligent FS in December 2020 as a project co-ordinator. Josh’s background of work within Customer service & Compliance means he will be able to oversee current & future projects whilst maintaining excellent relationships with clients.
John Knowles
Management Accountant
John joined Intelligent FS in June 2021 as a Management Accountant. He has over 20 year experience of working in Construction. He is responsible for the preparation of management accounts, cash flow and forecasts plus financial reports and statements. He is best at attention to detail and has demonstrated the ability to work under pressure and to plan and organise successfully to meet tight deadlines.
Charlotte Edgar
HR & Contracts Administrator
Charlotte joined Intelligent FS in November 2021 as a Contracts Administrator. Experienced in Customer Service and management initially her main responsibility was running a very busy Helpdesk but with her qualification in HR, Charlotte has now taken on a wider role within the company and is going from strength to strength.
Sam Shorrock
Trainee Project Manager/QS
Sam joined our team in January 2022 with the role of a Trainee Project Manager/ Quantity Surveyor with limited expertise within the industry. Since joining IFS Sam has been able to accumulate his skills and utilise his previous management experience into successfully delivering projects as part of the Commercial and Operations teams. Sam is a great communicator and is very proactive which is beneficial in our small team and is looking forward to accelerating his knowledge at Intelligent FS.
Bart Stepaniak
Site Supervisor
Bart has been with the business since its inception in 2016. In his role of senior engineer Bart is responsible for the delivery of site activities and supervising Intelligent FS on-site suppliers and contractors. Bart has over 25 years’ experience in the construction and maintenance sectors. He is highly respected by both his peer group and customers alike who warm to his courteous, professional and helpful approach to business. A competent and widely skilled engineer who is passionate about delivering a quality product.
Michael Dineen
Plumbing Supervisor
Michael is a fully qualified well-versed Plumber with over 20 years experience. A competent professional with excellent relationship building skills and the ability to empower teams in emergency and troubleshooting scenarios.
Stuart Holloway
Electrical Supervisor
Stuart is a fully qualified electrician with over 32 years’ experience as both an engineer and supervisor. He also possesses fabric multi-tasking skills and it is the combination of these attributes that make him such a valued member of the Intelligent FS management team. Stuart has excellent customer facing skills and has become a client supervisor of choice.
