Introduction to Quality Control
It is expected that we deliver high quality work, however it is vital that this can be evidenced and is inline with EWS1, funding and H&S requirements and audits.
This is embedded in the project through our QMS and digital auditing tools underpinned by ISO 9001 and ISO 45001. Ensuring mutual trust and transparency with clients, partners and our work colleagues to deliver the best possible results time and time again.
Bolster
Bolster is an insurance approved system required to obtain BSF funding for cladding remediation, that enables the site team to record information through mobile and desktop apps, providing evidence that combustible materials have been removed and a fire-safe building restored.
However, given the importance of proof with this kind of work, whether BSF funded or not, Intelligent FS make use of Bolster Systems on all cladding remediation projects.
Bolster digitally records all information including photographic evidence and the precise location of the work completed.
Via unique identification labels all on-site work can then be reviewed easily by any stakeholders, supporting that all important digital Golden Thread of information.
Safety Culture
Safetyculture (iauditor) is a digital inspection, issue capture and corrective action platform deployed across every intelligent fs site. This mobile-first application allows us to digitize all the elements of our health and safety operations. Our site managers capture consistent data, constantly identify areas of improvement, share reports and collaborate across teams. Actions from daily and weekly inspections are created, followed up and resolved swiftly against flagged items.
Inspections are scheduled centrally, and everything is allocated with due dates and assigned to appropriate people with priority levels for completion. Teams can be reached no matter where they are with project specific messages and updates as well as more general workplace communicaions via video messaging with auditable records that messages have been watched and understood.
Accreditations
We ensure a seamless transition from one service provider to another. With relationships based on mutual trust and transparency, we keep everyone well-informed throughout the process and strive to understand each colleague’s preference to achieve the best possible results.
ISO 9001
Provides the basis for effective people and processes to deliver consistently high levels of service. Encapsulated in a Quality Management System (QMS).
ISO 45001
An international standard for occupational health and safety, to protect employees and visitors by mitigating risks from work-related accidents. Fully embedded into the IFS QMS.
SAFE Contractor
A UKAS accredited Safety Scheme in Procurement (SSIP) which proves health and safety competences, equal opportunities, diversity and environmental management practices.
Constructionline Gold
A prequalified procurement accreditation aligned to PAS 91 to reduce the effort in bidding for larger tenders in Private & Public sector. This includes a Social Values certification.
This international standard for environmental management systems (EMS), to control environmental aspects of our jobs to reduce their environmental impact. All policies have been defined and accreditation is expected before Christmas. This will create a single integrated QMS.
