Introduction to Roofing

As principal contractors you would expect us to be experts in the built environment and this, of course includes Roofing.

We offer various roof refurbishment solutions, which are bespoke to your needs, and usually follow a full site survey, either via drone or intrusive survey as required.

With fully trained and highly professional roofing consultants, we deliver your roofing project with the same high quality, safe and efficient service that we have become known for.

What it covers

Aerial Drone Survey

As a popular alternative to Roof Condition Surveys and in support of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) safe working method to avoid working at height wherever possible, Aerial Drone Surveys offer high levels of accuracy, precision, detail and scale, giving you the ability to view live images of your roof’s condition, without the need to access potentially hazardous roof environments.

Single Ply

Single-Ply membranes are becoming increasingly popular, for both new buildings and refurbishment projects, coming in a variety of forms, ranging from EPDM and PVC to Thermoplastic. Single-ply membranes are environmentally friendly, durable, fire retardant and resistant to ultraviolet light, chemicals, and punctures.

Metal Roofing

Metal Roofing solutions have a life expectancy of up to 70 years which will offset the potential increase in upfront cost. In comparison to alternative roof types, Metal Roofing has strong fire-retardant properties that make the material preferential when it comes to safety. Plus, metal roofing contains a high percentage of recycled material, making it one of the most sustainable options you can choose.

Hot Melt Roofing

A Hot Melt Roofing System is a self-healing hot liquid roofing membrane that is applied directly to a pre-prepared surface, usually made of concrete. The system is monolithic, and the liquid is usually formed by a variation of materials such as Synthetic Rubbers, Refined Bitumen, fillers, and other products. Once the layer has been implemented, it forms a guaranteed waterproof solution with long-term durability, frost resistance (to -18C), environmentally friendly, cost effective and quick to installation.

Inverted Roofing

Opposed to a traditional Flat Roof, an Inverted Roofing System consists of an ‘Upside Down’ Flat Roof in which the Waterproofing Layer is beneath the Thermal Insulation. This is also commonly known within the industry as a ‘Protected Membrane’. Inverted Roofs allow the insulation to protect the Roof’s membrane from extreme weather conditions, such as frost, high UV exposure and contraction expansion that is caused by extreme summer and winter temperatures.

Inverted Roofing system are highly durable, protect against Thermal Shocks, preventing aged and fatigued Waterproof Membranes, provide excellent stormwater management and the waterproof layer acts as a vapour barrier, eliminating the risk of condensation.

Composite roof panels

Composite Roof Panels consist of an insulation core that is located between two metal or plastic facings. Highly versatile in use, they are lightweight, easy to clean, sound proofing, provide thermal insulation from heat and cold, quick to install and are cost effective when compared to other solutions.
