Fire Proofing

We undertake a number of different fire proofing works such as the recoating or encasement of structural steel and the installation/repair of passive fire protection. We engage with our specialist partners to assess any issues and provide the most suitable solution. This could be anything from fire batts, intumescent sealant or fire collars to pipework. Some of this work can be difficult or disruptive to survey as it is generally hidden within walls or above ceilings, but we use specialist equipment, drones and cameras to ensure that we can carry out surveys with as little disruption as possible. We collate design information and drawings with the site surveys carried out to identify the most high-risk areas and ensure that they are addressed in a manner that keeps building residents as safe as possible by minimising the risk of fire spread and protecting the life preserving exit routes from a building to ensure that everyone can get out safely in the event of an emergency.
