The team at Intelligent FS really went above and beyond this weekend by complete the Yorkshire 3-Peaks Challenge. Staying at the Golden Lion Hotel in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, 6 set off on what was to prove a gruelling day in aid of Cystic Fibrosis.
Gale force winds, torrential rain and even hail was not enough to stop the team (not all of them anyway) from completing the challenge of over 5,000 ft of ascent and over 24 miles in just over 11 hours.
Sadly there were two casualties who suffered a combination of torn groin, pulled knee and blisters who only made the first two peaks, but made it home safely in one piece and will make a full recovery.
Having achieved 177% of our fundraising target, we are motivated to try and raise even more for this very worthy charity that is close to our hearts, with one of our team being a long term sufferer.
