THE SUTTON – 41 APARTMENT BLOCK – SUTTON COLDFIELD

Following an initial specialist fire report commissioned by the client, Intelligent FS were called in to propose a solution to address the immediate safety concerns.

Intelligent FS proposed a turnkey solution to include replacement of the collapsed, fallen and broken cavity barriers to return them to the manufacturer’s specification. Remove the combustible insulation and replace with a 60-minute fire rated alternative. In addition, new cavity barriers at compartment floor level within the dogtooth construction are required, along with lining the section of wall next to the window within the staircase to ensure compartmentation and fire resistance where missing.
