Delivered with a strategic delivery partner Complete Façade Systems, this fire remedial works project presented numerous challenges including residents remaining in possession of the properties, access constraints and temporary weather proofing of the remedial works.

An initial Consultancy report was commissioned to confirm the requirements and ensure building control approval. The requirements were to complete works to remove and replace the cladding with a product that was European class A2-s1, d0 or A1 or better to meet the new regulations.

Given the various constraints, a hybrid access system was undertaken to ensure the project flowed seamlessly and on schedule, resulting in an on time and on budget delivery. Removal and re-installation of a new sub-grid frame, sheathing board, membrane, insulation, and the stone cladding finish was undertaken to complete the project and A1 non-combustible materials were used throughout.
