“Prevention is Better than Cure”: Partnering for Fire Safety in the Building Industry

by | Feb 9, 2023 | Blog, Industry News, Intelligent FS News

In the wake of tragic building fires, such as the Grenfell Tower disaster, it’s clear that there were numerous failings in the existing construction supply chain. From design to delivery, these flaws have proven to be fatal, and the new Building Safety Act 2022 aims to navigate all stakeholders to a better and safer built environment.

Intelligent FS, experts in safe and sustainable buildings, are dedicated to putting these mistakes right. Our recent award for innovation in cladding is recognition of that fact. We are also fully equipped to implement the recommendations set out in the new Building Safety Act 2022.

It’s vital that we act now, in anticipation of what the government will be telling us must be done, and to the best of our knowledge, act upon what the Grenfell enquiry has taught us so far. That’s why we have established strategic partnerships with innovative supply chain partners as well as with firms and individuals who, like us, are determined to make a difference in people’s lives.

We have a growing reputation for thinking outside the box in the way we approach and deliver critical remediation schemes to occupied buildings. Our goal is to protect and enhance the value of our clients’ properties while minimizing the disturbance to the domestic lives of the residents, leaseholders, and tenants, whilst making Britain’s buildings safe and sustainable.

Although much of the work currently being done is subject to non-disclosure agreements, we will keep you informed of our progress and what we are doing as information becomes available. Join us in our mission to create a safer built environment for all.
